Our commitment

Build the opportunity.
Remove the barriers.

ACT is committed to raising and coordinating the resources needed to fund a new training facility in Eastern Ontario.

The Kingston campus is our proposed first expression of that vision: hands-on learning connected to real work, housing that supports training access, and a setting designed around community.

Funding, property control, professional design and approvals are being developed. These concepts do not represent a funded or approved construction project.

Applied learning

Skills for a changing world.

Program design will be shaped by qualified education providers and employers.

01

Trades & construction

Supervised practical experience, safe working habits and durable building systems.

02

Modular manufacturing

Applied construction methods, quality control and modern production skills.

03

Robotics & automation

Technology operation, maintenance and problem-solving pathways.

04

Digital construction

Digital literacy, AI awareness and the tools used in modern project delivery.

05

Life skills & professionalism

Communication, teamwork, financial responsibility and lifelong learning.

06

Employment connections

Employer-led needs, placements and apprenticeship pathways.

A responsible path to delivery.

  1. Confirm demand, qualified partners and property control.
  2. Reconcile concept options with surveys, constraints and cost evidence.
  3. Build a complete capital and operating funding plan.
  4. Advance planning, design, procurement and construction approvals.
  5. Commission the facility and open when operational readiness is demonstrated.

Campus accommodation is intended to support students participating in training. Broader family and community housing will be developed through separately defined ACT projects.

Be part of the campus.

Colleges, employers, equipment partners and community supporters can help shape the learning environment.
